I just got a netbook laptop that does not have a cd player so I’m unable to copy my music to my new netbook. I used my mom’s laptop for all of my music so I need to find out how to get the music from my mom’s laptop, to my netbook.

Much help is needed! Thank you!

Wayerless has managed to get some hands-on time with the LG’s upcoming netbook called the X140.  Predicably, it’s powered by the new 32nm Intel Atom N450 Pinetrail processor and has a 10.1” screen with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels.  Maybe the most promising feature is that this unit comes with a SIM card slot, which means 3g will likely be an option, if not officialy, then unofficialy via the netbook modding community No price and availability information yet at this time but there’s another shot of the X140 after the break. A company called Pioneer (no relation to the audio outfit) from Australia is  offering an 11.6 inch laptop called the DreamBook Lite U11a.  One of the standout features of this netbook / thin and light will be a discrete graphics option in the future.  At the moment there’s one model available with the ubiquitous 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and Intel GMA 3150 intergrated graphics. On the product page however, there’s mention of two additional options – 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 CPU & N11x discrete graphics. The DreamBook Lite U11a has an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, a 2.5″ hard drive, 78-key keyboard, 3 USB ports, VGA and HDMI output, a flash card reader, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet, and a 1.3MP webcam. There are also optional Bluetooth and 3G wireless modules. Via Liliputing

When laser printers and printer toner cartridges were first introduced, they were an option accessible at a high expense. Now they are more affordable. Do you need a laser or an inkjet printer? It would depen on your printing needs. Here are some reasons you might want a laser printer. The price gap between laser and inkjet printers are not as wide as before. The price of both types of cartridges also differ, but that’s only noticeable if you routinely buy toner cartridges, as you would with inkjet ones. Toner cartridges can last two years without needing replacement. That’s because you can enjoy faster printing at greater precision. If you need rapid printing en masse, you need a laser printer. You also get to print many thousands of pages before having to replace the toner. You can even save more money by choosing to buy remanufactured cartridges instead of original ones.

I know netbooks are designed mostly for portable internet and not much else, but I am looking to replace my laptop with a netbook. Which netbook would be closest to a real laptop?

Google’s Chrome OS is due out late this year , but the open source project, called Chromium is there for anyone to work on and that means we get development all year long.  Anyone with enough skill can modify & work on the operating system should they wish. One such man, Hexxeh, has been providing popular builds of Chromium OS and his latest release, called  Flow , supports Nvidia ION support, improves battery life, supports additional hardware support, browser fixes and introduces an automatic update system.  Pretty impressive eh?  We though so.  Check out the link below to give it a whirl. Download Chromium OS “Flow” Instructions on how to install, and netbook compatibility list for  Flow here .

I have Lego Island 2. I copied the CD to a stick and installed the program on my Netbook. When I click on the game it asks me to "Please insert the Lego Island CD" with the pizza from the game twirling in the back. Surely there is a way to direct it to the stick. Please say it is so.

The actual very first large evidence of any iPhone reviews being rigged, though, came in Dec of 2009, when a Chinese company called Molinker was proven to have got their employees publish glowing reviews of its 1000+ apps. One application that is certainly not available in the iphone app store is an iphone app for actual actual iphone insurance. Regrettably, this insurance cover will be quite a bit more costly than if a simple search was done on Yahoo and google for i phone 3Gs insurance, which usually would certainly display a entire web page of independent iphone insurance firms, therefore it would be great to have an iphone app for that, thus the new iphone owner was not necessarily left as the pray of the actual network provider, but may basically use the iphone insurance app as soon as they 1st obtained their brand new iphone, to find the best iphone insurance deal obtainable at that time.

An estimate of how much your printer and printer cartridge purchases will combine in costs in a year, here’s what you do. Multiply the number of pages you printer per week by 52 to get a year’s sum. Divide that figure with the cartridge page yield to find out the number of cartridges you will need per year. Suppose you print 25 pages in a week, you would be printing 1300 pages in a year. If your cartridge can print 200 copies, you will need to buy 7 cartridges in a year to print 1300 pages. To cut down on ink jet cartridge purchases, you can choose to buy compatible ink jet cartridges instead of original cartridges.
