Acer has started showing off a dual booting netbook called the Acer Aspire One AOD255. It boots both Google Android and Windows 7, using software called the Acer Configuration manager which lets you choose which OS to boot at startup. Other than that, it’s a standard netbook with 1GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, a 10.1 inch display, and a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor. There’s a choice of a 3 or 6 cell battery. Computer World reports that the base model with a 3 cell battery is selling for about 4300 in Taiwan at the Taipei Computer Applications Show this week, but the final price will be closer to $375. There’s no word on whether the Acer Aspire One AOD255 will be available outside of Taiwan anytime soon. via Engadget
