I’m considering one for travel. I want to know some pros and cons of a netbook. I would like to be able to watch movies from a netbook during long train and plane rides. Is this possible. What other limitations are there with netbooks? Pretty much I just want to be able to surf the internet, upload photos, email, watch movies, play music etc. Any good suggestions?

Yes you can. Even a high definition video can be played on a netbook smoothly if not all the resolution is used. Like if you played the video with windows media player 12 or media player classic.
