We first heard about the upcoming Samsung NF series netbooks yesterday , and already we have our first hands-on. Liliputing took a look at the Samsung NF210. You’ll remember the NF210 slots in right between the low-end NF110 and the slightly more expensive NF310. Brad mentions that initially, the NF210 will be exclusive to Sam’s Club (think Walmart, but bigger) in the States, where it will be priced at $379.99. The Samsung NF210 has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, and a pretty funky curved design. See more pictures after the break. There’s a recessed keyboard situated between two fins. Samsung added a thin lip to the top of the display, which makes it much easier to grab and open the lid when the laptop is closed. The touchpad is perfectly level with the palm rest area around it, but does have a textured surface soyou can easily detect the edges of the touch area. Samsung is shipping the NF210 with a 6 cell, 8850mAh battery which the company says should provide up to 14 hours of run time. Samsung will also launch the NF310 netbook in the US which adds a metallic finish and the now famous dual core Intel Atom N550 processor . There’s also a high-res 1366 x 768 pixel display. Pricing should be around $429 or less. Unlike the NF210, the NF310 will be available through a variety of retailers. Check out more of Liliputing’s p ictures after the break.

Genesi USA has launched somewhat of a rarity in today’s netbook market. It’s a netgbook with a 10.1 inch display like most other netbooks, but under the hood is an 800MHz Freescale i.MX515 ARM Cortex-A8 processor. It’s called the Efika MX , and Genesi says it’s powerful enough to handle 720p HD video playback. The device has a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 16GB of storage space, WiFi, Bluetooth, and an optional 3G modem, as well as a 1.3MP camera, SD card reader, and mic and headphone inputs. The netbook weighs about 2 pounds and measures about 0.8 inches thick, runsLinux and uses less than 12 watts of power. Pricing should comes in at $349 , directly from Genesi USA. Unfortunately for them, one can get a Windows 7 netbook for about $50 less in the US. Then again, it uses much more than 12 watts and weighs more than 2lbs. We just wish it would come to the UK, and for about half the price. via Blogeee and Netbook News

While Asus hasn’t even officially announced its upcoming Eee PC 1015PEM netbook that we reported on yesterday , but sometime this morning, an official product page went live … Don’t bother clicking though, since it’s already disappeared again. Luckily, Notebook Italia caught a glimpse of the page before it disappeared. There’s an addition of the new 1.5GHz Intel Atom Dual Core N550 processor, support for DDR3 memory, Bluetooth 3.0, and USB 3.0. Asus will apparently offer three different battery options, including a 48Whr, 56Whr, and 63Whr hour battery, which the company claims should be good for up to 10, 11, or 13 hours of run time, respectively. Like most other Eee PC models, the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM will have a 10 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of memory, and run Windows 7 Starter Edition.

The folks at Netbook News.de spotted a service manual for the HP Mini 5103 which mentions that this netbook will also be available with Intel’s brand new dual core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor . That makes sense, since Intel recently announced that the chip would be available in a number of netbooks including models from HP, Asus , Acer, Lenovo, Samsung, and others. The rest of the specs for the new HP Mini 5103 appear to be unchanged.

Australian e-tailer Pena.au has 10.1-inch netbooks from both Gigabyte and Lenovo listed on its site with the fresh 1.5GHz Atom N550 processor. The Gigabyte T1005M convertible — or netvertible, as we like to call it — is much like the T1000, and still has a 1,366×768 pixel capacitive touch display, USB 3.0 ports, and an eSATA jack. It sounds like a pretty impressive little system but at $905 AUD (that’s about $800 US), the price is a bit steep too. There’s also the more affordable have the N550-powered Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 to choose from as well — although that too is listed for a pricey $699 Australian (about $617 US). We’re assuming the dual-core CPU adds about $50 to $75 to the average single-core netbook selling price, but here’s hoping that the prices are a bit lower once they hit this side of the hemisphere.
