Brad at Liliputing took a look at the new Acer Aspire One 721 which is a 11.6 inch thin and light notebook (1366 x 768 pixels) powered by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor and ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics. This Aspire One 721 is much like the Acer Aspire One 521 that we posted an unboxing and review of earlier. The main differences between the 721 and the 521 are a larger 11.6″ screen on the 721, which also makes reoom for a full sized keyboard. We suspect battery life should be shorter for the 721 as well since it needs to power the larger, higher resolution screen. First impressions were pretty good. The thin & light has a matte finish on the lid, which resists fingerprints. There’s a large access panel on the bottom which provides access to the RAM and HD, which should make upgrades a breeze. Overally, he seems quite happy with the AMD and ATI graphics performance-wise, but we’ll wait for the full review to make a full judgment.
