How can I charge my netbook in the car?

I have a ASUS netbook. I have looked in computer shops but they want around £70 for a car charger.

Surely there is a cheaper adaptor around?

Any suggestions?

I have tried my Tom Tom adaptor car charger, seemed to fit in the netbooks main connection okay, but wouldn't charge!

I suggest you to buy only recommended charger to prevent damage your laptop from voltage or polarity, certainly laptop are not cheap whereas charger is cheap, so think which one is fine for

Look them up in Ebay from Hong Kong for 20 bucks, just check the shops rating and I never had a problem getting the right product for the right price,

Try to find a power converter device that yo plug into your lighter port and allows you to plug in a normal wall plug-in.
