I have the software on my regular laptop, and was wondering how I can transfer it from there to the acer netbook through file sharing?! As I have no router, I got the ethernet cable that lets you hook 2 computers together and tried sharing files and it worked. I just don’t know what microsoft files I need to transfer to have the thing work.

Well you can do a disk image and restore it to your netbook.

I would transfer all microsoft files to the other computer!
You need the original installer. Simply copying files won’t work, since the installer modifies the registry and system files.
