How do you transfer word processing data from a desktop PC to an unwired netbook?

Does anyone out there know how to transfer data from MS Works word processor desktop to an unwired Samsung netbook? I only want to use the Netbook for word processing. It does not have MS Works as a word processing app. so I want to copy MS Works from my Windows desktop to my new Netbook, along with a book I’m writing on my desktop. I’m a Newbee. Thanks so much. Your best bet is to use a free "cloud" computing solution, such ask SkyDrive. Go to this URL and click the link to Try Microsoft Office web applications. http://officebeta.microsoft.com/

You can use the "cloud" to move your documents from one computer to another.

Your best bet would be to download a free program like Openoffice, copy it to a USB drive and install it on your netbook. You can get Openoffice from here:
