How to enable sleep in Snow Leopard on an Acer Aspire One a150 netbook?

I recently turned this netbook into a "hackintosh," and I have most things working, except sleep/hibernation. Is there a kext I must install or something I must modify in order to get this to work? Also, I’m not sure if the restart button works, it usually takes a while and I end up holding the power button to reboot. Any fixes for that?

Same problem with me on my desktop – the computer will not shutdown, restart, anything like that properly so I just end up holding the power button until it powers off.

You’re going to have to just face it – as far as I know, there is no kext to fix this. It’s just the BIOs, motherboard, etc.
