How to install a new windows OS on a netbook from a thumbdrive?

I have an image (ISO) file of windows XP that I want to install on my Toshiba NB-205 netbook. What do I need to do to install it?

imgburn.
mount it to a disk.
pop it in and boot the computer.
and if you downloaded that copy, illegally…be for warned that it may have backdoors already installed waiting to breach your security

You are not legal. If you created the ISO from your copy of XP, you have no legal key.

I would upgrade your computer to Win7.

Purchase an adapter to make External DVD drive. The adapter will work with any drive, IDE & Sata with extra power supply. You will have USB plug to insert your USB port. Now you can boot off the USB port to your DVD drive.

When you complete the upgrade with drive adapter, you can make nice backup hard drive external.
