I got a Eee netbook EPC1000HE and it works really good. Since it’s small, it doesn’t have a disk drive. I have to use a USB to put games or movies in it, but I don’t know how! Any idea on how I can put the Sims 2 Double Deluxe on my PC Eee netbook?
Thank you!

check to make sure that sims does req. a certain porocessor speed to run. Most likely it needs 2.0GHz to run, which sucks because your asus has 1.6GHz speed so that means it wont run or itll run VERY slowly. but in general if you want to put games on it like halo which will run and need for speed most wanted and even some GTA games use a usb flash disk. First, go to a computer that has a cd/dvd drive and pop in the game CD or in some cases DVD and MAKE SURE IT DOESNT RUN!!! goto my computer and open the cd/dvd. It should show a bunch of files. Dont touch them! instead copy and paste everything into the other usb drive. SAFELY remove the usb drive. then plug it into your netty and run it from there and it should install. lol sorry for capping some things but some people miss these steps and blame me for not telling them…lol

Your mere attempt to help does not work at all! lol =P
First of all, if it was a simple matter of ‘copying and pasting’ the entire cd to a usb stick on a desktop and transfering it to a netbook - i think nobody in the world would have trouble putting games on the netbook which does not have a cd/dvd-drive.
And second of all, when installing the game onto the netbook, (such as Sims 2, etc) they require the cd to be inserted while playing it (i’ve also tried installing Crazy taxi the usb-way) but most games require the cd to be inserted to play due to copyright. (But iv heard that multi-player games dont require the cd to be inseted while playing, so they can easily be transferred to ur netbook the standard way, i.e. copy and pasting the entire contents).
To help, you need to create a virtual harddrive on your netbook and mount the games-files onto the virtual-disk (by converting the files into ISO’s - which is just a mirror of the game files) so the netbook thinks that there is a harddrive attached to it. Thus allowing you to play games or Sims deluxe! =)
just google either: MagicISO, PowerISO, UltraISO or theres another better program beggining with ‘D’ but iv forgotten whats it called. lol
