Use an external CD/DVD drive with the recovery discs.
A USB flash drive is very ideal for backing up important files. If there is nothing you wish you preserve/keep or back up then go ahead run a restore to factory settings (reformat). If no restoration setup is available, then you’ll need an external DVD rom drive to run your bootable windows installer CD.
