Is it possible to get online on my desktop using my verizon netbook?

basically I want to use my netbook which is already online as the modem to get my desktop online. is this possible?

MiTTeLMaNiA 12.22.09 at 4:26 am: Yes, it is possible. You need to connect your desktop and your netbook using an Ethernet cable (standard network cable). Then go to "Network connections" on your netbook, find the wireless connection you’re using as your internet connection, right-click on it and go to "Properties". Find the tab "Sharing" and enable sharing (Also called Internet Connection Sharing, ICS). Once you’ve done that, you should be able to surf the internet from your desktop.
o 12.22.09 at 4:26 am: No, the net card is installed in the netbook for it to get on line. It don’t have any other capability besides getting on the net.
