is it possible to update my xp netbook to vista or windows 7?

I have a windows xp netbook that works really well but does not have all the newer functions of windows vista or 7. Is it possible that if i went to bestbuy they would be able to upgrade my netbook to a later version?

I strongly doubt that they would do it for you. It’s not the kind of service they offer…

To upgrade to Windows 7 you’d need to buy a Windows 7 upgrade pack. You can then use a program called WinToFlash ( http://wintoflash.com/home/en/ ) to make a USB flash stick bootable, and the copy the contents of the disk into it.

This allows you to install Windows 7 on your netbook (which lacks a optical disk drive).

depending on your netbook spec..
don’t upgrade to windows vista, xp is good enough for a netbook.

If your netbook meets the minimum system requirements, you can install Windows 7. System Requirements are
