Laptop Mag has reviewed the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 (the non tablet version) and overall they seemed to have liked it. They noticed that Lenovo had redesigned this model quite a bit – gone are the bulbous bulges for the hinge.  The battery sticks on a little on the bottom, but not the back.  The glossy display (1024×600) proved sharp and crisp without excessive glare which sometimes plagues glossy screens.  So all in all a pretty good, if pretty standard effort from Lenovo. Here’s the good and the bad: Good: – Top-notch keyboard – Instant-on OS – Loud speakers Bad: – Small hard drive for the price – Finicky touchpad – Shorter battery life than competition (6hrs 55 mins) Lenovo hasn’t released a date yet for the S10-3 netbooks and tablets for the UK, or pricing, so in the meantime we’ll have to make to with the Lenovo Ideapad S10-2 which is currently available for £270 with UK shipping included .
