Brad, at Liliputing , has put up a review on Lenovo’s business netbook, named the X100e. The machine tested here has a dual core 1.6GHz AMD Turion Neo X2 L625 processor and ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics along with 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and a 6 cell battery.  There’s also 802.b/g/n WiFi, Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and an 11.6 inch display with a native resolutoin of 1366 x 768 pixels. Quick summary. - Sturdy case design despite weighing just 3.3 pounds with a 6 cell battery. – Matte case material, and matte screen resist fingerprints and sun glare. – ThinkPad X100e is about twice as fast as a typical netbook – 5 hour battery life is just average, although fair considering performance. At $499 in the states (about 300GBP), it’s well priced, although the AMD processor used is already looking a bit dated. Overall though, we agree with Brad that the Thinkpad X100e is a good combination performance, power consumption and price. The best price we’ve found the Lenovo Thinkpad X100e for here in the UK is just under £400 via Amazon UK. You can find that deal here.
