Samsung N210 Reviewed and Compared

It’s not the thinnest, lightest, fastest netbook.  Nor does it have the longest lasting battery or the lowest price, yet the Samsung N210 is currently the best selling netbook in the UK.  A bit like the Ford Mondeo is a great all-around car, the  Samsung N210 is a fine example of a netbook with an attractive case design, above average keyboard, and a few nice features including a matte, non-glossy display and a fingerprint-resistant case for a very reasonable price. Samsung sent a demo unit to Brad at Liliputing which he promptly set out to review for us.  It came with the following features a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. The laptop has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a 6 cell, 48Whr battery. The Samsung N210 currently sells at Amazon UK for £289 in white or black. Check past the break for a few more photos of the review, as well as a bullet point summary. CONS: – At 2.8lbs, it’s a bit chunkier than some of the smaller netbooks. – Fairly large bezel around the screen. PROS: – Distinctive lidt features a textured pattern on a white background, which is covered by a clear plastic shell. It gives the lid a three dimensional look, at the plastic does a good job of hiding fingerprints. – Matte 10.1″ LCD display – Nice large touchpad with an attractive chiclet style keyboard The  Samsung N210 currently sells at Amazon UK for £289 in white or black.
