I love to write, and I do it best when I can get my ideas out quickly. I want a Netbook for simple internet browsing, good features for lots of writing (a bigger keyboard, for example), good battery life and preferably somewhere around 300 dollars, but I might pay more if it’s worth it. Thanks!

Most net books have smaller keyboards than laptops, so you probably would be better off getting a laptop. There are good cheap laptops out there for $330 like this one at best buy.
I have an acer aspire one netbook and its awesome because it has acer signalup which means it goes twice than other netbooks or laptops.
i got a acer aspire one d150 netbook for christmas and its great, the only downfalls that you might hve with it is that it dosent have a cd-rom drive on it and the screen and key bord are kinda small. but depending on where u go you can find them for a good price, mine cost me about $225-250 on the internet. the battery lasts for about 3 hours and charges fast. and its small so u can take it with you everywhere :]
The Asus Eee PC 1005HA tested at 1664 on the PC Mark Vantage score.
That beats most netbooks in the 300 dollar range.
The top-end 1005HA-P runs $340 at Amazon, Best Buy will have the low end B series.
