What is the difference between a notebook (laptop) and a netbook?

Does the netbook only do the internet?

TC 422 08.12.09 at 9:11 am: Netbooks are incredibly portable, but lack the power of a full size laptop. Netbooks do all the same stuff laptops do, like movies, email, and internet. The only thing they can’t do is render video, edit pictures, or games. So just about any program that is CPU intensive will not run well on a netbook.
