will i be able to do my online medical transcription course with a netbook?

I am taking a medical transcription course online and I am thinking of buying an acer netbook. Will it work well for this?

Homegirl 11.03.09 at 11:57 pm: It depends. You will need a USB port for your foot pedal, and a port for your headset. You will need to be able to connect to the Internet, download files, and you should be able to print. I would recommend a fully loaded laptop. You will need a good system anyway in order to work as an MT.
transhealthcare 11.03.09 at 11:57 pm: It is better to use windows XP, vista will give some problems reg MT especially express scribe etc. Dell and Lenovo also good.
