Would it be smart to use a netbook to host a live stream?

I have a netbook, and I want to have it connected to a camera about 8 hours a day. Would it be wise to run a netbook for this long? It should not get that hot especially with that 1.6Ghz atom processor right?

idle 04.11.10 at 2:15 am: I would make sure that the bottom of the netbook is elevated, that is where the fan is so making sure it gets enough air is a good idea. if you are that concerned maybe even put a small fan blowing air towards the netbook.
